Six months later after the announcement of intentions, Deere&Company has said that the transaction on acquisition of the producer of the road-building equipment of the Wirtgen Group company is complete.
As it became known, the amount of transaction of 5,2 bln. dollars has been announced on June 1. As a result of John Deere becomes the first producer which gets all complex of the road equipment within one company. Before in Deere&Company scale (which actively buys up recently the companies of various segments) there was no road-building equipment for laying of stone blocks and the equipment for consolidation.
Deere has said that it plans to support each of the existing Wirtgen Group brands together with the management of group, productions, employees and distributor network. All Wirtgen Group (and now Deere&Company) owns five brands: Vögele, Hamm, Kleemann, Benninghoven and Ciber.
By the way, judging by the published statistics, sale of business for owners of Wirtgen Group wasn’t such the compelled step: for the 2016th year of sale of the company have made about 2,6 billion euros, and according to forecasts for the 2017th year the predicted sales volume will be not less than 3 billion euros (about 3,4 bln. dollars of the USA).
